It all started when watching his first musical production of Calamity Jane, performed by the local junior high students. From that very moment theater magic changed the direction of his life. Michael’s career in theater has spanned over forty years as a performer and has strengthened and brought forth passion in multiple facets of stage production including, set design and construction, prop building, lighting and even costuming. The last twenty-two years he has been able to focus on his true passion, directing. His most recent directing credits include Catch Me if you Can, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Spamalot, The Music Man and Newsies for SCERA Center for the Arts. Some of his previous directing credits include, Les Misérables, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Singing in the Rain, Cats, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Jekyll and Hyde. Michael is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, California. Michael is excited to embark in this new venture, fulfilling a life-long dream with Regalo Theater Company.
