Our next session of improv core 1 is beginning February 7th! This Core 2 class in our Improv series will help improvisers develop breadth and depth of experience drawing from the narrative improv tradition and the Chicago style.  Chris Last will be instructing, Yes he’s the Actor who portrayed the Entire D’Ysquith Family in Regalo’s A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.

We aim to build one of the most comprehensive series of improv courses available in Salt Lake and Utah County today.  This Core 2 course in our Improv series will help Will focus on building upon what was established during Core 1 (Core 1 required) and putting greater emphasis on playing scenes, again drawing from both the narrative improv tradition and the Chicago style. Whether you take this course to become an improviser or for personal and career development, this course will provide you with skills and experience that will help open doors to new opportunities in life.

Core 2  will be Wednesday from 7pm-9pm Starting 02/07/2024.  This 8-week class has an introductory price of $160!

Chris’ Bio:

Chris Last has been doing improv professionally for 9 years. He first joined the ensemble at Unexpected Productions (Seattle, WA.) in 2015 where he was a regular weekly performer, doing 2-4 shows a week. He joined their teaching staff at the Seattle School of Improv a year later. In 2021, after relocating to Utah, Chris joined the ensemble at ImprovBroadway and Comedy Sportz Provo.

Chris also does theatre. In 2020, he was cast as Leo Bloom in Driftwood Theatre’s production of The Producers (Edmonds, WA). He played the role of Albert Kummer in Sugar Factory’s production of Dear Ruth (West Jordon, UT., 2022), and he played the nine members of the D’Ysquith Family in The Empresses’ production of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (Magna, UT., 2022) As well as playing the D’Ysquith Family in Regalo Theater Company’s A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder.
